Happy new year, family! I am so excited about this year, 2023. I hope it is not too late to say new year greetings in March. It is a good year for you and me. God’s plan for us this year is so grand and massive that it can only take God for us to come into it. I bring you a word of hope from the Lord. This blog targets a particular group of people the Lord is reaching out to. I am referring to people who have given up on themselves, people who are not regarded with value, and people who have endured adversities.
The scripture says in Job 14:7;
For there is hope for a tree: if it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its tender shoots will not cease!
You see, God has created a system of restoration on the earth that we can take advantage of. According to this restoration system, nothing is broken or destroyed beyond remedy. God can restore things just like nothing wrong ever happened.
To that one who has been rejected, disappointed, or let down, God is saying to you:
- Don’t cry over that disappointment or that rejection letter.
- Don’t cry over the waste places and destroyed things in your life.
- Hold on to God’s word and demand restoration!
With God, nothing is lost that cannot be recovered, broken beyond repair or destroyed beyond remedy. It is not yet over! Don’t sit down and mourn over what could have been or what you have lost in the previous years. Do you even know the God you serve? With God, the before and the after do not make sense. It does not even come close. The difference is like day and night! God can write beautiful stories out of broken lives.
People have concluded over your matter; maybe they have even discarded you because of one mistake or the other. Micah 7:8 says: Rejoice not over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
This year 2023, the Lord is coming for the “written-offs,” the condemned, the ones who have been labeled as never-to-do-wells, the ones of which they have said, can any good thing come out of Nazrarite? The ones whose stories have been written, finished, and concluded by men, the ones who have been left to languish in the prisons of life, prisons of affliction and oppression. God has heard your cry, and He is coming for you. It’s jubilee year! It’s freedom year!
God is coming for Joseph’s forgotten in prison and David’s in the wilderness. Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse a baby (Gen 21:7)? Many things will be coming to you and happening for you this year that men would have never thought you deserved.
Its jubilee! Are you ready? God is coming for you. Your deliverer is coming!
